The development mailing list for Subversion. Non-development questions should be posted to 'users' instead; that includes build problems, configuration issues, etc, as well as usage questions.

User mailing list for Subversion. Please post all usage questions here. If you're in doubt as to whether a post should go here or to 'dev', then it should probably go here first -- people will suggest posting it to 'dev' if that's appropriate. Please DO NOT post TortoiseSVN questions to this list: TortoiseSVN is a separate project with its own mailing lists.

This list receives automated messages from automated build and test systems. For example, if you have set up an automated nightly "make; make check" system to test Subversion on a particular platform, the system can send its output to this list. Suggested format for subject lines of such mail messages: "svn rev N: PASS (FreeBSD ...)" where N is a revision number, and the information in parens is a platform string, see the PLATFORMS file for more examples. Substitute FAIL for PASS if the test fails. (Also, please set the Reply-to header on such mails to dev@subversion.tigris.org, so any problems are followed up on the main list.)

Low traffic list: only occasional announcements about Subversion releases go here. Please DO NOT POST to this list unless it's an announcement. (The list is moderated anyway, so your post will not go through unless it's a legitimate announcement.)

This list is for discussion of issues that are specific to the port of Subversion to OS/400, such as installing, configuring a server, building from source, etc. IMPORTANT NOTE: General Subversion usage questions should be posted to the users@ mailing list.
