It's hard to say what you are doing and I just dont have a crystal ball
at hands to say what you've seen before the window has been closed. But
something strange happens.... Let's try to give some hints:

- before you use the 'return' key copy the command you entered at the
shell to the clipboard. Paste it to the mail program you are using
showing it to readers in the list. This doesnt stress the readers'
crystal balls so hard.

- if you experience any unexpected close of a terminal session, start a
shell (i.e. bash) inside the window. Even if your command closes the
session, the window should not be closed, only the additional bash is
closed. This allows to report the result using C&P.
