svn command-line client leaking memory when committing many files

Message Folks

I'm trying to put my website (75000 files) onto Visual SVN (on
Windows) from my Mac.

505 /Users/rmills/clanmills.stuff> svn --version
svn, version 1.6.2 (r37639)
    compiled May 14 2009, 14:34:54

This is a 64 bit client. It seems to be leaking memory. I've
succeeded by submitting the files in smaller batches (less than 10,000
at a time).

The client appears to be eating about about 100-200k/file during svn
commit.

Anybody else noticed this?

Robin
